AVOID '3' MOBILE LIKE THE PLAGUE - LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE A 3 CUSTOMER

I have been with '3' for over six years. When I first gave them my business their call centres were in the UK and very good. However at the end of my contract I had to deal with the indian call centre. Very hard to understand them, they speak so very fast. They also didn't seem to understand me. The deal they offered was pretty rubbish but for convenience I took it.
Wind forward 2 years. 2 hrs of my life wasted talking to Customer Services. After I established they were not going to offer a long standing customer anything different to someone walking in off the street I gave up and asked for unlock and PAC codes for my phone. This is where the utter nausea began. Hours of wasted calls. They seem to be instructed to deliberately not help you if you are leaving the network. Bounced around equally incomprehensible operatives who all declined to help but kept offering 'new' deals to keep me with the network. All were utter rubbish. And then they called me 9 times in 3 hours, various operatives asking if I wanted to change my mind about leaving the network and offering new deals. I went to my local 3 shop today to complain. The Manager was great and said he is inundated with people complaining but no one at the company is interested.

My best advice is avoid '3' like the absolute plague. The sign up and delivery will be quite efficient but woe betide when you have a problem or you want to leave. Life is too short to be a customer of '3' mobile.

Do yourselves a favor - don't go near '3'. The network coverage is adaquate (but not great) but their customer service is an ABOMINATION / TERRIBLE / AWFUL - I could fill the page! Go to anyone else but '3'.
