I've had tyres and oil changes from National for more years than I can remember with no major issues. This time, tyres ordered and paid for in advance but after two visits to the local depot (Aylesbury) tyres still not delivered. National's own order acceptance states that I would be contacted if tyres would not be available for the appointed time - but no contact was received! Not Aylesbury's fault - they did try to locate the whereabouts of the tyres. So I wrote to Head Office and requested home fitting at their expense to make amends for poor service. They agreed and tyres were fitted....but not balanced. The van was not equiped to balance wheels that had solid centres. Enquires revealed that Aylesbury didn't have facilties for balancing wheels without centre holes either - made me wonder if I've paid for balancing in years past without getting what I'd paid for. Head Office agreed to refund the balancing charge of £13 + vat. but I now have to go elswhere to have the wheels balanced. So in future I may as well go elsewhere to have new tyres and wheels balanced in the same visit. If you're a Pegueot or Citroen owner yoiu may encounter similar problems with wheel balancing.
We ordered an AEG washing machine six years ago and that good experience pointed us to 365 Electrical when a new BEKO tall 'fridge was needeed. Ordered Friday, delivered Saturday afternoon. Fantastic communications by email and text message from order acknowlegment, delivery window advise and the driver 'phoning to tell us that we should expect him in 25 minutes. This is how it should be done. We don't regularly make high value purchases but when we do 365 will be our first point of call.
