Having arranged for a parcel to be collected from my office on Monday, got out of bed an hour early to be there for 8 and then stayed late for three hours waiting for the courier, no-one showed up. I then spoke to [name] at Parcel2go who advised they dont guarantee collection and were sorry. They then offered to rebook the courier. I should have been concerned I guess when there was a specific facility on the website for rebooking couriers that dont arrive. I asked [name] to ask the driver to arrive between 9 and 5 so that I didnt waste a further four hours of my time and he said that this was not possible. Drivers cant be given instructions. After asking to speak to a manager he then said that he could leave a message at the depot for the driver but there were no guarantees he would receive it. Take it or leave it. In the modern world of digital technology, this seems to me to be pretty poor. Perhaps this company doesnt rely on repeat business
The rat trap I ordered arrived very promptly, but so far the rats have been too clever for it having stolen the bait without triggering the trap mechanism twice. Perhaps the rats in Cornwall are too smart. .................Three rats caught and taken to the woods on holiday, perhaps I they arent as smart as I thought
