My "Saturday delivery" parcel was processed very quickly by the company in Bristol and collected soon after by DPD. It then sat at their Birmingham hub from friday night til the early hours of Monday morning. I've just spent 20 minutes phoning various numbers trying to actually speak to someone. To be fair, she was apologetic and told me to contact the company I purchased from for a refund of the delivery charge but that's hardly the point. If you choose express delivery you should get it. The annoying thing is that having ordered from this company before, I know that royal mail standard delivery would have come the next day but because it was urgent I went for express to make sure. Avoiding companies that use DPD in future as this isn't the first bad experience I've had with them. Doesn't surprise me that they have such a bad rating on here, maybe companies should think twice about using them in future.
