Delivery too long

I'm a little bit dissappointed that the order has taken so long from when I ordered which was the 01/02/13. Payment was taken straight away but 5 days later my order has still not arrived. I envisaged that my order would be here within 3 days & only had enough dog food to last those 3 days. My dog has a medical condition & has been prescribed this special diet dog food for a reason so cannot eat anything else from any shop so I have had to go to the vets & get a small bag & a couple of tins to last the 2 days so more expense.
I have today received an e-mail saying that my order will be delivered today but not until between 16:44 - 17:44 so why has my order taken 5 days!!!!!!

Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry you feel this way about our delivery, both of our delivery options are advertised with their delivery times on our website.

I can see you have selected the free delivery option, which is stated as taking within 5-7 working days. Today is the third working day, and your parcel is on the van out for delivery with you today.

We do offer a quicker delivery for our customer's who need their goods urgently, unfortunately this option was not selected on this occasion.

Bad Experience Only

Where do I start!!!!!!. Had problems with e-mail newsletter being cancelled when I never cancelled it, auto-reorder then reordering when this had been cancelled. Before I cancelled it I placed my first order to 2 items & then within 3 days auto re-order ordered one of the products again. Made a call & was told that it had been cancelled & that I would have a refund but then 2 days later the order turned up at my door waking my husband who was sleeping as he works nights. When I called the next day to complain I was told that i shold have just refused the order!!!!!.

Now today I have received another e-mail confirming my auto-reorder & that my item is ready for dispatch. I am currently at work & cannot make personnal calls so cannot get this stopped but I have sent an e-mail saying that I didn't order this & don't want it as I only ordered this product last week. No reply to that e-mail but another one sent to me saying that my item has been shipped today so I'm guessing that you have taken £23.00 off my card which will now cause me a few financial difficulties until I get paid cos that's £23 less I will have!!!!!! So angry. Have already been given a 5% discount for when I next order because of the problems I have had but this don't even cover it.
