Would have given 5 stars if not for issues with availability and problems paying on line which resulted in my having to make a few phone calls. To give the best customer service they should have phoned me rather than the other way around. But their prices are very good!
Order unexpectedly delayed. Expected it in 3-5 days as per on line site info. However, after a week had passed by and it hadn't turned up I phoned to find out what was going on. Was told part was out of stock (not what it said on line), and that on line info was incorrect. Was given apology and refunded delivery cost. They also explained that it would be in stock in a few days.Was also told item would be sent by express delivery so I would get it within my revised deadline. Fortunately item turned up just in time! It was lucky that bad weather prevented me needing it sooner. Clearly they need to sort out their stock numbers so customers are not mis-led as to when items will be received, further to give really good customer service I should have been told that the item was out of stock as soon as they realised, so I did not have to contact them to find out what the problem was. On the plus side, I was fairly pleased with the way my issue was handled by the customer service team.
Have used Plumbworld before and that seemed to go ok, but this time I made a mistake in my original order and needed to change it. My initial e-mail to customer services was responded to extremely quickly, and I thought everything would be sorted quickly, but then it all seemed to go wrong, perhaps partly because it was a Friday (and they close over the weekend)? It then took nearly a week to get things back on track, but when I thought it was sorted, it wasn't quite. Not very impressed, particularly as there is no option to phone anyone. Really don't understand why it took over a week from the first attempt till the order was finally "placed" with the delivery company. So I'm still waiting for the parts to be delivered. Good customer service would have been to expedite the delivery to partially make up for the delays (or to have dealt with my issue much sooner). The inability to resolve on the phone didn't help.
