I needed another battery for my SharpCamcorder and after looking at options on the internet chose to order one from The Battery Company. The ordering process was simple and the battery arrived (8 November) well before I had expected. I put the battery into the camcorder but although the charge light came on, after half an hour or so it started flashing. I tried to use the camcorder but there was no power in the battery. I checked that my charger was working properly by charging my other battery; it charged as intended. I re-inserted the "new" battery and left it on charge overnight. The battery had not charged. I contacted The Battery Company (9 November) who immediately authorised a freepost return arrangement. I am at present (12 November) awaiting a response from the company.
