Fast service, good communication, but my tv is still malfunctioning

My tv has a vertical green bar about 2" large. My local tv specialist advised me that the issue was due to a defective buffer and that I should get it replaced. Googling around, found FlatTVParts who had an identical buffer at a very reasonable(not to say cheap) price, so I've order it.
The buffer arrived in less than a week time - note that I live in Portugal - extremely well packed and loking good as new. Unfortunately, after replacing the original one with this, the tv faced no changes, the green bar smiling at me all the time...
Thank God OLED is on the way (damn expensive though) and Led tvs are getting cheaper every day. I will get rid of this Panasonic plasma very soon.
Anyone interested in it, for spares?

I am going to send another board out to you on the small chance the board we sent you has a fault.

However, it could be the panel at fault instead of the board.
