Bolstered my confidence in the company
I bought the 1/2 bolster cushion for the massage couch. Excellent quality - as was the couch. Colour match is perfect. Item arrived on expected day. I am very pleased with both my purchases, and will use the company again.
Diet Chef
Not necessarily what it says on the label!
1 - When i signed up for Diet Chef i had anticipated - and read nothing to the contrary - that everything except fresh fruit and vegatables were provided, this is not the case. Having taken a Bolognaise to work with me for my evening meal, i was somewhat suprised to see that all that was contained was the sauce...... the pasta had to be added. There was no mention of this on the web site or on the individual pouch.
2 - The diet is not calorie sufficient, and food must be added to it to ensure dieters are getting their required daily intakes.
3 - Much of the food - endless soups at lunch time - are highly pureed, and a bland, sludge coloured. They niether taste nor look particularly appetising.
4 - As far as i could make out on the web site, the minimum order is for 2 months. Pouches do not seem to be available to purchase apart from these multiple week boxes. You are faced with 140 packets, pouches and boxes that need to be somehow stored.
5 - I am not finding this a supportive programme and will not be extending my involvement beyond the two months that i have signed up for - i would indeed have ended my involvement by now if i have not signed for the minimum of two months.
