I sent flowers to my Mum for her birthday and they arrived as ordered on the right day and she loved it. The local florist did call ahead to see if she'd be home which could have ruined a surprise, but she told them she'd be home and not to give any more details as it was her birthday and could be a surprise. So, it was fine and she was thrilled. : )
