I ordered a great deal from Tesco Direct for Christmas. I received the order in three different batches. A week later, I was still awaiting one more item, so I contacted them. I must have been on hold for nearly half an hour to find that my item had been cancelled at their end. I did not receive any notification of this! I was still charged for the whole order. The item was only £7-odds, but that's not the point. They refunded me £10 for my trouble. The best thing is though, I used a link to receive cashback on my order, otherwise I probably would never have used Tesco. I found out today that they actually rejected my cashback. Needless to say, I will never shop with Tesco by any conscious means in the future and will discourage others from doing so!!
