Bad experience. Total dissapointment

I bought 2 items on friday 9th November, after taking the payment for them it told me it didn't go through, this has happened to me before so I opened a new browser and checked on my account, it had gone through so I didn't go through the payment again. An hour later I received an email from them telling me that one of my items was out of stock, so I would be getting a full refund and 10% off my next purchase. I wasn't too bothered because I didn't really need it, it was just an impulse buy. On the other hand my other item was important, it was for a party a week later. I received my parcel from them on monday 12th November as it was next day delivery. I opened it to see that this wasn't the dress I ordered. It was a top which was much smaller than i ordered. I checked the delivery notes and it said on there the correct item yet they had actually given me the wrong item. They must have been blind to tick it off and put the wrong item in it.

I looked on missguided website and it says to email customer care if you receive an incorrect item, so I emailed them at 5pm on the same monday. I checked what time they were open till, and seeing they are open till 9pm I guessed I would get an email the same day. But nope didn't get an email. The next day I still hadn't received anything so I emailed again stating how angry and upset I was from this and wanted someone to get back to me asap. I still haven't received anything from them, I have no clue what to do as they dont have a number to call and if I send it back I'm guessing they'll be like you have sent the wrong item back.

I have never had a problem with them before, but after this I wont be shopping with them again. It is an absolute JOKE. They are basically theiving everyone by the looks of all these bad reviews. If I don't receive an email I will probably get in contact with watchdog or something. Or phone the reception lady if I can find the number most people are talking about and make her get the manager. So annoyed and dissatisfied with their customer service. Absolute joke!

It saddens me to hear you received the incorrect item. The phone number is purely for business purposes only, and our customer care advisers do not have the facility to contact customers via the phone.

However we do offer Facebook and Twitter as alternative forms of contact.
