I ordered a game from amazon and paid extra for next day delivery. There were no deliveries next day even though someone was in all day. No card was left either. I checked online through Amazon and it's listed as delivered. I then contacted checked the DPD website and it is also listed as delivered. I have contacted the seller, Amazon and DPD separately as each of them referred me to the next. I still have no answers. I can't find a phone number for a customer service line on the website either.
Update: After much searching I found a number for customer services (had to go through the sales team). They said the driver had posted the game when nobody answered the door (even though we were home) and contacted the driver who came round within five minutes but could not remember if he'd been to my house yesterday. He told me he would follow it up and see what had happened. So far nothing. I think they've posted it through the wrong door. Wait out for further updates.
Update: I just rang customer services again. After a quick search they were able to use a GPS tracker to tell me where the drivers van was parked yesterday when he entered my parcel as delivered. Turns out he was two streets over at nearly the same house number as mine. Nice one, the street name has the same first syllable but there the resemblance ends. And why couldn't I be told that the first time I rang customer services? The advice I received from customer services? Go and call on your neighbour (who I've never met) and ask if they have the package!! What so now I have to go cold calling? This is ridiculous it's a delivery service, not a go and get it yourself service. My advice to anyone considering using this service is to think again.
