WAE+

Shockingly bad .................

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT I HELD OFF SENDING THIS REVIEW PENDING A SOLUTION TO MY CUSTOMER SERVICE PROBLEMS AS I THOUGHT THAT THIS MIGHT BE AN HONEST ERROR.

I bought a TV from WAE+ on 4 Nov 2012, which, unbeknownst to me (although it did apparently say this somewhere on the product page) was a European model. This European model was sold to me as a UK customer with a European 2 pin plug attached to the power lead. There was no adaptor with the TV.
I rung WAE+ , using their predictably bad 'All our customer service agents are busy, you are 14th in line ....' customer service line and was told that they were sorry and would dispatch one that very afternoon and that it would be with me the following day. A WEEK LATER, still nothing. Another phone call and again promised the same thing. To date (16 Nov 2012) I have not received the adaptor or a reply to the TWO messages i have sent to the laughingly so called 'Fast Response' messaging system, which was necessitated by the fact there is nobody to answer the phone on any given afternoon. And now it is a FRIDAY evening and that means there will be no response (he says not holding out much hope !) until MONDAY.

As an aside, I was directed to WAE+ from the 'Which ?' website. I will be sending them my thoughts on WAE+.

MY ADVICE. Find somewhere else to buy your electricals. Find a retailer that will supply you with the right goods for the right area where you live ie. the UK. Find someone who values good old fashioned customer service. Something that WAE+ clearly know nothing or care nothing about.
