Auborgine cast iron griddle pan great colour great pan
I really love this griddle pan, not only is it a great colour but it cooks like a dream, nothing sticks to it and although heavy being cast ironin every other way it's great.

Sticky stuff
The adhesive that came with the covers for the air bricks to prevent mice entering doesn't adhere very well on brick so we had to drill and nail the covers on.

If the surrounding area is not cleaned free from dust the silicone will struggle to bond to the true surface. It is always recommended to wash down the area and pat dry before applying silicone. If the surface is very uneven more silicone will be required to allow the silicone to bond to the air brick cover and the wall.
I hope this information helps for future use of the adhesive.
