I've been looking at this phone for months following its development. The Optical Image Stabilization means every picture I take looks great, wireless charging is simple to use, and the Windows Phone 8 OS is amazingly simple yet powerful though there are still substantially fewer apps.
Everywhere I go, people notice my phone, I've had people telling me they're thinking of getting it, just because they've seen mine.
The screen is gorgeous, and I love how it is super sensitive so even with gloves on it still registers every touch. Nokia's customer service is second to none, I broke my Lumia 800 and they picked it up via FedEx, and dispatched a brand new phone without any effort on my part.
The downside at the moment with this phone seems to be availability, I ordered the red on through Phones4U as soon as it was available and luckily I got some of the little stock they had. Unfortunately this meant I had to bite the bullet and take out a contract with Orange (the cheapest option for what I wanted) 100 minutes, 500mb of data and unlimited texts for £20.50 p/m and £250 for the handset. Make no mistake, as soon as my contract is up I shall get this phone unlocked and use it on cheaper networks though I have noticed how 3G is quicker on EE
If you want to try something different to the iPhone or the Samsung Galaxy S3, and especially if you're looking to be on the new EE 4G network or you're with Orange or T-mobile anyway, seriously consider the Nokia Lumia 920.
