Spent 700£ with ebuyer on a full tower recently, got it on the Friday and after putting it together found out the mobo was DOA. Set up a return on their website but the email I received told me to call their team but they are not open at weekends so had to wait till Monday. Then after spending half an hour on hold he fobbed me off with an email guiding me to take photos of various parts of my mobo to send to them for evaluation. Then I have to wait for the okay to send the mobo back, then I have to wait or them to receive it, then I have to wait for them to post mine and it to turn up. And then this is all Monday to Friday so ill probably have to update some of my components by the time it turns up to keep my pc current.
While it may not be ebuyers fault the mobo was doa it certainly wasn't my fault but I'm paying for it.
Will be going elsewhere for future pc purchases.
Had the returns policy been less time consuming and such an admin burden for me I'd of listed 4stars. At the moment it feels like I'm "guilty until proven innocent".
