Having just slated MyProtein i felt i should balance it out with a review of a company that had impressed me, in fact that went well beyond my expectations.
When I'd ordered some new kit for an upcoming climbing holiday but it hadn't arrived with a few days to go I got in touch with them. They sent out the stuff again immediately using next day delivery at no extra cost to me. This was before the requisite period of time for reporting a parcel as lost so they didn't have to do it. It's not often you actually get decent customer service in the UK but these guys really did an excellent job and i will certainly use them again and 100% recommend them!!
I've been using MyProtein for about 3 years, my first experience of them was very bad, with some major delivery issues and their lack of interest in resolving the problem. Eventually it was resolved (not thanks to them though) and I decided to give them a second chance.
For about two years I used them with no major problems, the products seemed fine, price was good and delivery acceptable. I was basing a lot of my decisions on the individual product reviews which all seemed positive. I then experienced a problem with a smart shaker i'd bought from them- the lid split with only light use inside of 6 months rendering it useless (i've got other makes of shaker over 5 years old!). I wrote to customer service but they weren't interested and so decided to submit a review of the product- I kept to the facts describing the defect as above rather than get personal.
Then after two weeks of checking I realised why all of their products have such good reviews- they don't publish the bad ones!! Yep they completely failed to post my review, so in reality are any of their products actually any good...?
One thing is for sure, their customer service sucks, so if anything go's wrong with your order or your product good luck, you'll need it!!
