Pleasure to do business with

After having had a very poor experience trying to buy a 3d tv from another online retailer I rang RGB and spoke to Nina who told me that they had the particular model I wanted in stock. I explained that I couldn't buy the tv until my refund from the previous debacle came through to which she said no problem I'll reserve the stock and ring me back when your funds are cleared.
I rang back 5 days later and even though the tv was £50 cheaper than AD and had free delivery it arrived next day.
Highly recommend this company for their courtesy, professionalism and pricing .

Don't waste your hard earned cash

Looking at AD website everything looks fab,full of expert advice etc, however putting their promises into practice is another matter. Paid for an LG 47" tv on 6th Nov and every day on the website the availability slipped by a day later with no communication, whatsoever, from the company, to get any info I had to keep ringing their revenue generating 0871 number. On 13th November I had a mail saying delivery would be on 14th November (which seemed odd as the web said earliest would be 21st)
Took a day off work and waited in, Tv arrived exactly when to courier firm said it would, in a nice new box, however , when my husband came home he said this is great however we didn't order a 42" Panasonic plasma???
Yet another series of calls to arrange pick up (couldn't do a swap) and another day off work. What makes this even more exasperating is the fact that I ,foolishly on reflection, paid for a pre delivery inspection (£30 but why would a new tv need inspecting?) on my order status this is shown as "delivered" beats me how they can inspect and still send out the wrong tv.
TV now on it's way back and I've asked for a full refund, but their not as quick to return your money as they are to take it as I've been told I "should" get my money back by the middle of next week - hardly acceptable.
If Appliances Direct cant get stock why sell on the website,apart from the obvious reason of having a large amount of customers cash in their bank - stay clear of them there are plenty of suppliers with similar price points that couldn't possibly be any worse.
One star based on the overall company performance but the call centre staff were always polite and one could only empathise with the problems the company policies must present them day in day out.

Thanks for the comments below Sarah, however now that my refund has hit my bank I see you've kept £50 of my money for the pleasure of not doing business with you!!
Perhaps you can explain how you think you can justify £20 delivery charge for an incorrect item and £30 for a pre-delivery inspection of an item you've NEVER had in stock??? I expect the missing funds to be refunded as soon as possible because my next action will be a written complaint to trading standards, and if required, legal follow up - still a joke of a "company" I reiterate my comments above - AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS !!!

Hi Denise,

I believe we have contacted you today to issue a further apology for the reasons outlined above. We can confirm that the money has been refunded and once again we are sorry for the mix up.

I believe at the time of the call yesterday my colleague did let you know that the refund was done in two stages. Therefore the £49.95 has already been refunded and will be in your account by Thursday.
