I must say this is the first time I have been compelled to write a bad review for a company, which is a shame because they have beautiful sofas. We ordered a chair in early September and was told it would be delayed until November. We then received a call saying that the chair was ready and that we NEEDED to take delivery of the item as they couldn’t hold stock, but that the only slot we could have was a Tuesday. Unfortunately my husband and I both work so we requested a Saturday delivery - we were told this was not possible until February as they don’t apportion Saturday slots until one week before. I asked to be informed when the December dates go live – again not possible and also no guarantee that they small delivery company they use would be able to make it to my house. Upon pushing it turns out the delivery company they use only deliver every other Saturday in December and not at all in January, and that they keep Saturdays free so that they can guarantee new orders will be delivered before Christmas.
The lady on the phone was very nice, but offered only two rather infuriating options 1) that I take half a day off “as that’s what most people do” or 2) arrange a courier at my expense.
We certainly won’t be using Loaf again until they sort out their delivery – it really lets them down badly and had I known I would have to wait for five months for my chair we would have gone elsewhere.
