I ordered an Artisan KitchenAid stand mixer at 11.40 am on December 23. While the purchase was stimulated by Xmas (a shared present for my wife and I) it wasn't needed for Xmas and, even though the website said it would be delivered Xmas Eve, having ordered it so late, I didn't really expect that commitment to be fulfilled - let's be realistic we're talking Xmas Eve. Oh ye of little faith - how wrong could I have been. During the afternoon of the 23rd I received various emails containing a despatch note then an invoice and finally a delivery confirmation for the 24th. I started to get excited and believe it would happen. At 7.25 am on Xmas Eve I received an email advising me that Paul from DPD would deliver between 12.57 and 13.57 - I laughed at the promised accuracy. At 12.58 the door bell rang - I said you must be Paul. Enough said. The whole process was smooth and professional with the added bonus of a great deal on the mixer. In fact it arrived so quickly I haven't had time to use the mixer yet - Xmas got in the way !!
My computer (5 yr old Dell) had become extremely slow. Knowing little about such things I asked around friends plus interrogated the net and concluded that extra memory might be the solution. I immediately baulked at the idea but seeing the relatively cheap cost (and hence low risk) of the cure (or so I hoped) I decided to go for it. The memory arrived quickly and fitting it (for a complete technophobe of 62) was staggeringly easy. I was up and running in minutes and, lo and behold, the computer was much faster. Great service from Mr Memory from a first time user and just as importantly really easy to follow instructions
