This company is an utter disgrace in every sense of the word and I would advise that they NEVER be used. I spent £1500 on two children's beds and two bedside tables. My daughters bed arrived at the designated time with 2 out of the 3 boxes required to build the bed. My husband had to sleep on the floor until the 3 rd part was delivered 2 days later. I called to speak to someone and after much arguing they told me they would let me know when it would be sent out and I would be offered compensation...they did neither, but bribed a driver with a crate of beer to deliver it. Fortunately he caught me as I was on my way out to collect my children...I never heard from anyone regarding compensation. As the date drew near for the second bed I called the suppliers direct who told me Dreams had put my bed on hold. I called dreams who said it was not on hold, it had been cancelled...they then told me it would take another 4 weeks plus 7 days (5 weeks to normal people). I then had to get back on to the phone to Scan house (the supplier) who told me they would get me one courriered out a.s.a.p if Dreams released it and that my bed had actually been sitting waiting for delivery in a warehouse for at least 2 weeks. However, if they did deliver it I would not be able to have it built (despite having paid for it). I decided to take it as if I waited any longer it was going to be past their 4 weeks plus 7 days...it is not that easy to appease a 6 year old little boy when he is waiting for his birthday present. The bed arrives and guess what......it is the wrong colour. Apparantly this is my fault, I should have known how they refer to colours on their invoices, despite having requested the exact same one that was in the store. I was told that if I wanted them to change it, I would have to pay 20% and was told by Patrick at customer service, that I should have checked my receipt and it was my word against theirs....I offered to send a picture of all the white furniture I had bought to go with the bed which they sent me in beech. Finally he said he would remove the 20% fee, which meant I still had to foot a 3rd fee to build the bed...he told me "I give you an inch and you take a mile", when I said it was disgusting I should have to pay yet again. So today, I have one bed in white which I have now paid 3 times to have set up, and opposite it, I have the one in beech. Someone from the suppliers arrived last Monday to collect the bed, but he was not told that he had to dismantle it and that someone was coming from Dreams on Friday. I waited in all day on Friday for dreams to turn up and goes what.....it is tuesday and my son still has two beds in his room and no room to play. Make your own minds up on this joke of a company.
