I ordered two of the same outfits from All Fancy Dress, one for myself and one for a friend. The skeleton outfits needed tights which you had to buy separately, I am 5ft 1ish so went for the size that were advertised to fit up to 5ft 3ins, as soon as I pulled them up they ripped at the crotch, I didn't force them on (as the customer service lady suggested) I just pulled them as I would a normal pair of tights. Without the tights the outfit was no use to me so didn't bother to finish trying it on in full. My friend also tried her outfit on but found it to be much too small for her, much smaller than advertised. So we sent the items back in the next few days. To my surprise I then received an email saying that All Fancy Dress would not be refunding me my money as the tights were returned damaged and also that the skeleton costume was covered in clumps of hair and the detatachable straps were broken. I was rather taken aback by this as I did not even remove the straps from the packet, so they must have been faulty when sent to me, as for the hair on the product I struggle to see how there were clumps of hair on it?? I think this is a slight exaggeration on their part, the item had to be tried on, i literally had it on for one minute, if indeed there were a few strands of hair on it I fail to see how this prevents them from issuing me with a refund. There was absolutely no mention of the other outfit and no refund was issued. After a week or so and still no refund i rang to complain about this and spoke to a rather rude and clearly in-experienced lady, she strongly denied the item was mis-advertised and also faulty when sent to me and assured me that there would be no refund! Also when I asked about the other item being refunded she realised that she had not done this. I asked her to send the 'faulty' goods back to me as I assured her that I would be reporting the company and she said I would have to pay the postage, when I refused to do so she said she would take the postage off of the refund!!! I cannot see how a company can get away with this, not only are they mis-advertising but they send out faulty poor quality products.....
