This is a good value method of paying cash from my current account into foreign bank accounts. I use it for occasional low-value purchases from foreign auction web sites where I am prepared to take the purchase risk, in other words, GlobalWebPay cannot help me with a refund if the goods never arrive or are faulty.
I chose to use GlobalWebPay because their transaction fees are a fraction of those of my current-account bank, although the GlobalWebPay fees are still significant for small purchases.
GlobalWebPay security appears to be good, and the recipient of my cash does not get to know any of my private details like my address or bank account number, unless I tell them.
One downside is that they keep your cash in limbo for a day, or at least for some hours, but I guess this should be seen as part of the transaction fee.
