Can't Fault It. Would Use Again

I booked for City-Link via ParcelMonkey to come and collect 2 parcels at 23:50 for the following day. Was delighted to see the order was accepted on such short notice and everything went through without a hitch. The only little negative I can say is that I got no estimated delivery pickup time meaning that I had to to get someone to wait in for the whole day for City-Link to pick up.


Used To Very Good, Now Totally Useless

So I had ordered £330 worth of computer hardware for next day delivery. Ebuyer duly carried out the order and delivered next day...Thats probably the bit that gives only 1 star and not zero..11pm cut off :).

After spending what is usually a 2 hour job to build a machine, ended up the entire day as the motherboard had been deemed faulty by conducting my own diagnostics and getting a 3rd party store to also check.

I called up Ebuyer to arrange for a direct replacement to be sent. They advised me it could take up to a week to be sent. With the computer being built for my sisters university work, that wasn't an option so the guy on the phone said to cancel my RMA (old one 1194064 new one 1194173), put it as a refund and and in the meantime pick a new product from them. I was asked to supply evidence of the fault which I did advising them what I had done diagnostics wise and also supplied images as per their request...They then advise me at 17:58 (2 mins before their dept shuts by email) that they won't give me a refund because they believe the damage on the motherboard is my own doing and this is why it won't work.

They have not provided me any evidence that its my fault only that it wouldn't pass their "quality control" in this state. That statement probably matches up with the shocking customer service. So essentially they are making an assumptions and as a result won't provide me a refund.

I've already responded to them and I'm awaiting my reply which will probably be again another palm off even though I've advised them of

* Sales of goods act
* Distance selling regulations

In summary - Used to be a very good company but now useless. It's no wonder they no longer win awards!.

I am sorry to hear you are unable to return your faulty item to Ebuyer as the fault has been found by our technicians to have been caused by yourself.

Unfortunately, we can not accept items back if this is the case and you would need to contact the manufacturer if you would like them to look into this further.

You should receive a response from our technical support team today regarding any messages you have sent.

Game arrived a day early! What more could you ask for!

Ordered Halo 4 way back when pre-order was available. Game arrived day before it came out which was fantastic because I was flying out to Hong Kong on the day of release.
I've no problems with this company previous and no problems again.
