Glasses Direct

Great quality and price

Two pairs of glasses that were going to cost about £500 from the opticians were under £300 from Glasses Direct. Fast service and excellent quality.

Simplysupplements

Great products at excellent prices

I have been buying supplements from Simply Supplements for a few years. To be honest I was a bit sceptical about the quality and effectiveness of the products at first, but felt it was worth giving them a fair try. I haven't been disappointed. The products that I have tried really do work and the prices are much lower than other online retailers and high street shops. Customer service is good too - when they sent me the wrong product, it was quickly replaced with the correct one.

Hunter Boots

Very disappointing quality

I was given a pair of Hunter wells a couple of years ago. They do not get a great deal of use - just for walking the dog in wet weather. Not heavy-duty farm or garden work or anythign like that. A few months ago I noticed my right foot was getting wet. Inspection revealed that the seam on the too of the boot, where the toes are, had come unstuck - just alittle bit but enough to let the water pin.

I was very diappointed - they were expensive boots and I would exepct them to last a bit longer. Anybody can see, from looking at the amount of wear on the soles, that they haven't been used that much.

I called Hunter's customer service dept and had a long dioscussion with a young lady there. Basically she was not interested in my problem. She would not budge from the stance that the warranty was for 1 year.

I now have a pair of relatively cheap wellies from the DIY store. I won't be buying expensive Hunters again.

Regus

Lovely people but premises have problems

We've switched offices twice since we moved in less than 6 months ago because of problems with the air con. Either we freeze or we roast. The staff have certainly tried their best to help us - they are all wonderful - the problem is, as I understand it, the fact that they started with an open-plan space and divided it up into units.

The walls are very thin and we can easily hear what our neighbours are saying, whether we want to or not :)

We would have very much liked to be able to use the Regus facilities in Chennai when we were there recently but they were all miles away from where our client was based, and getting around Chennai takes forever :)
