delivery exactly as promised

we had a complicated delivery requirement on a space heater as we ordered on Monday and were only available to receive the delivery (we have no neighbours with whom deliveries can be left) on Friday. Moreover Lawsons had to order the item in from Drapers. The item arrived as promised at 9.30 on the Friday thus freeing us up to use the rest of the day. After many delivery hassles with firms that used the useless Yodel, who either could not find the house or left the goods on the oradside or threw them over the gates, it was a pleasure to deal with a firm that selected a decent carrier - Parcelforce.
The price of the item was also a lot less than other online vendors.
