I took advice from a techie friend when my laptop was suddenly kaput, and I needed a replacement immediately. The friend, who is a big fan of PC Specialist Ltd, simply told me which laptop I needed to buy, and 48 hours later it was in my possession. He did a good job - I'm thoroughly pleased with my new acquisition. It has a very comfortable keyboard, and opens and closes in a most satisfactory fashion. The screen is very clear and makes my photos look particularly good. Its 111 GB on C Drive and 465 GB on D Drive, which I use for systems and data respectively, are as much as I could possibly need. Its Solid State Drive (SSD) - one of the main reasons my friend selected this particular model - without doubt makes this laptop work very efficiently. Gone are the days now when I spend a disproportionate amount of my time looking at egg timers! And it fires up in under a minute, and shuts down almost instantly. I am pleased that it has VGA as well as HDMI connections, as my projector doesn't have HDMI. However it is still a slim machine, and quite lightweight. A weak point perhaps is the quality of its speakers, though this doesn't bother me in the least as I don't use it for music. And, for those who do and want tip top quality, it's easy to plug in external speakers. I needed to contact PC Specialist about delivery by telephone, and was most impressed by their website from which one could see exactly what was happening regarding those in the queue, waiting time, etc. I've never seen this before on any website. In all a job well done by PC Specialist Ltd, and I would recommend their products and service generally to anyone. (And thanks to my techie friend for introducing me to them.)
