Along with a note from the seller saying that they were fine because the barcode was intact & he had in fact already spoken to ticketmaster to confirm. Phoned ticketmaster & was told the venue might reject the tickets on the spot for any damage, redirected to ticketsoup, told to phone viagogo who say they will attempt to contact the seller. Have no idea what's happening at present, hoping for replacement tickets to be left at the box office for me. In future I will make sure I purchase tickets well before the event from the correct source.
I wouldn't chance using this company again, unless my issue gets resolved.
You cannot get away with selling damaged/defaced tickets. These were a gift & I can hardly give someone tickets that look like they have been at the mercy of a hyperactive 4 year old with a black marker & an angry dog.
UPDATE: Just received an email from Viagogo.
"Thank you for informing us of this potential issue. We will contact your seller for you, and contact you as soon as we have heard back from them.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Not impressed at all. Be wary of this site! I am absolutely gutted.
