good product, good price, delivered quickly some issues with fixings

I purchased two vertical tubular radiators from BathEmpire as following investigation they appeared to offer the best value for money. One was a single and the other a double. Both were well finished and look and feel the part. I had some dificulty with the installation of the double radiator. The brackets supplied by the manufacturer were the same for both radiators. Fine for the single giving about 50mm clearance between the wall and the vertical vanes. On the double the clearance between the wall and the wall side vertical vanes was reduced to 10mm which I felt was insuficient to provide an adequate air flow to achieve the stated BTU rating. I got around the problem by fixing a 35mm batten to the wall first and then fixing the brackets to the batten. This gave me 45mm clearance which is more normal. I told BathEmpire about the problem and they said they would let the manufacturer know so hopefully future orders for double radiators will be supplied with brackets that have longer arms.
