Absolute NIGHTMARE

This company should be stamed out by law, they are an absolute joke and have been the bain of my life for nearly 2 months now, we ordered a bed and bedroom furniture in September and were told all our items would be delivered a fortnight later and given a specific date. on the dtae of delivery we were contacted in the morning to say they would be at our house in up to 2 hours (this was at 10am) our delivery did not turn up till 8.15pm!!! and we only had a bed! the delivery man didn't know anything about any furniture, we had prior to delivery dismantled all our old furniture and bed and disposed of to make way for the new. So we had a bed, and now piles of clothes etc all over the top floor of our house. after sleeping in the bed we discussed how small it was and decided to get a tape measure out, the bed was sold to us as a double but was 4" shorter in width! so we rang to try to arrange for delivery of our furniture to be told to wait for a phone call, and to ask for a swap for our bed to the right size- to be told well we can swap the matress but not the base!!! How ridiculous, we pointed thsi out to them and eventually managed to arrange for delivery of new base and matress in the right size, which meant taking more time off work for another late delivery. My partner who had to take time off as i can not is a self-employed window cleaner and has lost a substantila amount of wages during our experience with DREAMS. we eventually had our new bed delivered and the old one taken away. 24 phone calls later we are no naerer to getting our furniture and our house remaiins in dissaray. We have ben fobbed off constantly by the customer service tean and told they would ring back, get 'the chasing team' onto it, email head office- non of which they have done. Very irate at this stage i have started to ask for managers now ehn i ring and have now been told furniture takes 10 weeks for delivery?? so why the hell was i told it would be delivered within a fortnight alongside my bed?? and no-one mentioned 10wks to us at all. Also when i look on line at thier website it says my furniture is in stock and that its delivered within 7-14 days, again false information, apparently Yodel (who are also crap) may or may not have my furniture and they will ring me to deliver it, so I ring Yodel who tell me I need a UPI number to track my parcel, so I ring DREAMS again to be told they dont have one!! I just have to wait for Yodel to contact me. Nearly 2 months now, I am so irate and wish we had have looked at reviews prior to purchasing from these cowboys- if i havent recievd my furniture by 10th of December I am reporting to watchdog and consumer rights, I trust that anyone on here will be behind me if watchdog investigate??
