New UltraNote, good buying experience

I bought an UltraNote from PCS about 2 weeks ago. The configuation and ordering process went very smoothly. I did have to pay by credit card as I was unable to set up a direct bank transfer. The machine took just under 2 weeks to be delivered, with plenty of email updates as it was built. No problems whatsoever with the courier, very efficient in this regard. The UltraNote was very securely packaged.

I am very happy with the UltraNote itself. It is relatively lightweight, good build quality, nice keyboard, very good battery life. A few minor quibbles - a matt screen option would have been nice and the front edge beneath your wrists is little bit on the 'sharp' side. I installed Windows 8 which went pretty well, however I am missing a PCIe driver for the RAID/SATA controller and so far, I have been unable to find it, even after contacting customer service.

Overall, I would definitely recommend PCS for offering a wide range of custom-build PC's and laptops and good customer service.
