Ordered a load of anti-histamines and some creams and the prices were great - significantly lower than other sites I looked at. Payment was easy and emails confirming the order were prompt but the actual delivery was slow - they emailed to say my order was in the warehouse awaiting despatch on the 15th and I finally got it on the 23rd. When I did receive the order the creams I'd ordered were the wrong ones, same brand but different items - I've emailed the company to arrange an exchange but definitely not as smooth a transaction as I've come to expect from Internet based companies.
I was so so disappointed with Boohoo. I placed once successful order that arrived next day and was happy with it...unfortunately it all went downhill after that...
I placed another order, the site said it had gone through successfully, then within a few minutes I got an email saying my order had been cancelled, either due to me cancelling it or due to items not being in stock (neither was the case as all the items were showing 10 or more in stock). I placed it again, it said it was successful again. About 8 hours later (not good at all whwn you wanted next day delivery) I got the same email as before saying it had been cancelled. I also received an email from customer services saying my payment details had not matched my address...not the case!
Slightly confused I tried to find a phone number but discovered you can only contact them by email - I understand this keeps costs down etc but when you are trying to get an order sorted in a short time frame it really, really does not help and adds hugely to the frustration customers are already feeling! So, in the absence of a call centre, I emailed to try to find out what the hell was going on, and received an email back saying it was nothing to do with my payment details, but that my orders had both been cancelled in error! I fired a 'not very happy' email back and got one back offering 10% off my next order.
So...tried to place the order yet again but this time there was no next day delivery option that I needed. Emailed yet again and received a reply hours overnight saying they were having issues with the website and were hoping that this option would be available again soon. I immediately tried the website again the next morning and the next day option was back - so I attempted to place the order again (I forgot about the 10% off annoyingly) and it looked like my order had gone through on screen. However, I didn't get an email confirmation of the order and it wasn't showing on the 'my account' section of the website. So, very annoyed by now, I emailed customer services again and received a response nearly a full 24 and payment taken. Over a week later, I never received my order, no payment went out of my account and I am left feeling very frustrated and annoyed with the whole boohoo experience...it really should not be this hard to place an order. Terrible customer service, poor communication - I have now completely given up on them and won't be attempting to order again! payment taken.
