Antony @ flashoholics knows what he's doing - great website, fantastic choice of all the best high end torches you could want, competitive prices and fast/free delivery. Ordered a number of Fenix and 4sevens torches/accssories for outdoor use and had email support on a few technical issues. Cant fault - would highly recommend.
Webtogs just seems to get it right... upto date "clean" website that is easy to navigate and always accurate as to stock availability... great payment terms (dont take money until product is shipped)... mega fast (FREE!!) delivery... genuine, knowledgeable and friendly staff at the end of the phone/email and competitive prices to boot... Just bought a £150 lowe alpine pack and was delivered well packaged in 2 days. Got great service from Gareth who had to call Lowe about stock levels on a different option and called me back within 10 minutes of our conversation - you just get the impression these guys really know what they're doing... webtogs definitely my first choice over other online stores (especially OutdoorGB - see my warning review there!) - woudnt hesitate to recommend
The market has moved on from the days of shoddy websites, long delivery timescales, poorly trained service staff to deal with calls and emails... or at least for most stores. OutdoorGB consistently shows itself to be way behind the competition. Ordered some Tatonka products (which had conflicting info on the site in the various product descriptions) got an email to say they were out of stock (so take it off the site then!) and offered an alternative in Brick colour (what is brick? Grey? Orange? Yellow?) which was in stock. Then when i chased a week later i was told that all products were on backorder from Germany. After an email to their "fanatics"service desk i got a really curt email back ignoring the main points of my feedback. Not my first bad experience with them. Fundamentally a bad company to deal with - avoid.
