Very outsourced the delivery of my parcel to the extremely unreliable Yodel. For some unknown reason the local Yodel depot held on to the parcel for 2 weeks, failing to contact me to explain why or to reschedule the delivery.
I made 5 phone calls to very on their expensive 0844 number and on each occasion their call centre staff were unable to find any information as to why my parcel had been delayed. Frankly, Very seemed unconcerned that Yodel have held on to my parcel for no known reason, telling me to wait for the Yodel depot to contact me directly - which they have never done.
As the parcel requires a signature on delivery and I have had no card from Yodel through the letter box I am certain that no attempt has been made to deliver the item thus far.
