My order was split into 2 consignments. The first consignment, after chasing up with customer service, was delivered 2 days later than expected with promises that the second consignment would be the day after. With the second consignment they kept making promises to say that the delivery would arrive the next day, but it never did. I called on one occasion to ask why the on-line delivery tracking system was telling me that delivery was expected 2 days later then Ironmongery Direct customer service had promised. They assured me that delivery would be that day and the information on the tracking site I was looking at was incorrect. I eventually had to cancel the order as the goods were required for a project that I had a deadline for and I had to purchase the goods elsewhere.
