Good range but non-branded bottles

I ordered a few miniatures from the site for a birthday present. They arrived very quickly and I had no problems with the ordering process. However, I was disappointed to discover on receiving my order that the bottles are not what I would consider proper 'miniatures' but are in fact just small bottles with a generic label stuck on. I'm trusting that the whisky is as stated, but it's not so nice to not have a branded bottle, particularly as they are to be a gift.

I think it should be made clear on the website that the small bottles are simply small samples, presumably taken from a larger bottle, rather than proper 'miniatures'.

Thank you for your comment, we have checked the way these samples have been listed on our site, and although some further clarification will be adjusted so customers are fully aware that these samples are drawn from the original bottles, it clearly does state sample, The concept in offering these samples is in most cases these are not available in the traditional 5cl bottles, so therefore gives the customer an opportunity to sample some fine whiskies that are not normally available, the main label is used to illustrate from which bottle the sample are drawn from.
