Overall the experience was very good. My only issue was that I had a flat tire - which I think was a detective tire. There was no spare. I was stranded for an evening in a foreign place. The next day I received help but incurred a 115 euro towing and assistance cost and a 120 euro cost for a new tire. Ouch. Europcar nor autoeurope took any responsibility toward this claiming tires were not covered. Is a renter responsible for checking for defective tires at receipt of the vehicle?
