I have ordered one Key in the past without trouble so thought it would be a good way to go for a second, i was sadly mistaken.
I ordered a Key for Dragon Age Origins, i was provided with one quick enough however when i tried to activate the product on Origin it told me the Key had already been used. Not a problem i thought they should sort this out.
Once again i was mistaken, i contacted them along with copies and screenshots of logs from EA that showed the CD Key had been used previously round 2 months before they sold me this one. I would have expected a replacement to be forthcoming. This was not the case, i was told they would have to take it up with the supplier and i would have to wait.
What rubbish, i bought my Key from CJS, it was not as described nor was it fit for purpose. I should have been offered a replacement or a refund. But instead i have to wait for them to sort out issues with the supplier, none of which is my concern, my business was with CJS that effectively sold me a faulty product.
I cannot imagine going into a brick and mortar store with something that did not work only to be told you would have to wait while they delt with suppliers.
Hats of however to EA's customer support who summed it up nicely 'you need to return the game as you were sold a used game' its just a shame CJS have failed to act on this in any meaningful way.
In fact i was told that 'It is not an issue we have, we have sold many of these keys and only this one is reported bad' which is of no use to someone having the problem.
Not impressed at all, it may work the vast majority of times, but when it does not the help or customer support is not there.
Going to be looking at paypal to resolve this.
The products were dispatched quickly, however the courier had damaged one of the frames. A quick phone call later and another was on its way next day delivery, no quibbles and no need to return damaged item. Excellent customer service.
Quality of product good and as such excellent value for money.
