Having signed up to Very a year ago without ever ordering, I thought it would be a good place to buy a few bits for our new home (kids bed, lamp shade, pillows etc). Thinking it would be hassle free, we updated our details online and placed the order.
Moments later I received an order confirmation email stating everything was being delivered to our OLD address despite us deleting our previous address prior to ordering.
Concerned, I instantly called their customer support team, and after a few 'eeerms...' I was told that the address was updated and the items with come to our NEW address.
A day later, a dispatch email was sent to me stating everything is going to our OLD adressed.
Annoyed, I called up again and after being put on hold forever they apologised and assured that the couriers know to deliver everything to our NEW address.
The emails continued to be wrong, I continued calling, and Very continued to assure me. This cycle repeated countless times until finally I received an angry text to the tenants of our old house saying a load of stuff has been dumped on their doorstep (signed for by the unaware neighbours).
Angry, I called to complain to was put on hold for half an hour until their offices closed. Even more irritated, I was forced to call the next day and put my complaint through in the hope that they could rectify. After a long list of excuses, they said the tenants at the old address should be made responsible for returning. After a fairly long time and lots of wasted breath - Very agreed that they could collect the old packages and dispatch new items instantly.
That was a week ago, I've called them every day to get confirmation and every day I'm made to repeat the above only for them to say nothing can be done but someone will get back to me. I've tried and tried with this company but they are simply impossible.
However good their PR team maybe, look beyond the bright colours and offers and DON'T SHOP AT VERY!!
