Excellent customer services BUT ...

Having been into a lovely boutique (about 20 miles from where I live) and seen a Creenstone coat, at the price of £190.00, but in a colour I didn't really wish for I decided to order, from Jules, the coat at the price of £298.99 (over £100 more). I had to order by telephone so I asked the assistant if they would honour the "price match" as advertised on their website. The answer was no as the coat in the boutique must have been in a sale or priced incorrectly. I went ahead with my order and the coat arrived a couple of day's later. However, within the time limit of 7 days, which is given for returning an item, I saw the identical coat in a local department store, again £100 cheaper. I checked with the store that the coat wasn't in any kind of sale or had been discounted in any way and this was confirmed. I telephoned Jules to explain the situation and again asked if they would price match only to be told once again no. I then returned the coat to them and bought it locally. I would like to point out that it cost me £9.75 to post this one item back. A big consideration, especially when most stores these days offer a free returns policy. I would like to ask any of you if you have been successful in getting a 'price match' from Jules, as advertised. I will be very interested to find out.
