Beautiful Christmas present

I had coveted the three piece nightwear set for my daughter but with other priorities I felt I couldn't justify the expense. Nowadays mums dont stay long in the Maternity hospital but night feeds in January require more than her birthday suit and she's not one to wear night clothes usually.Even if she gets her figure back immediately she couldn't breast feed easily in her old nightwear. I could not believe my luck when it was on offer for half-price before Christmas. I ordered all three peices; nightie, pyjamas and robe and paid for it to be gift wrapped, I'm so glad I did. It arrived within 2 days absolutely beautifully gift wrapped in a large box, far better than I could have done it justice.

Good Quality and excellent service.

On-line ordering and delivery was a breeze compared to other websites I visited.
Because it was sale season I got a good price but £39 for delivery meant I paid slightly more than B&Q as they only charge a fiver for delivery. Having said that the shopping experience was hassle free and everything arrived on the exact date I wanted it delivered. Some other firms actually delivered the taps, the plug and the bath from seperate warehouses and there would have been a six week difference between the bath arriving and the plug, plus nowhere apart from Victoria Plumb could I book the exact date of delivery before I paid. Some other retailers had a very cavalier attitude regarding delivery and it was on their terms whether they actually got round to delivering it at all.
I do not understand why baths are not supplied with a basic plug as standard. After all you cannot use it without one, its a bit like ordering a car without a steering wheel and then having to buy one on top of the price you've already paid. I consider that a hidden extra which bumps up the price, and all the retailers do it, which is very sneaky!
The bath was good quality as were the taps and I finished up paying for a more expensive plug in order for it to enhance the fittings, which was a bit extravagant really, but I couldn't find a bog standard plug which had a silver looking chain. Everything was simple to fit, and I'm very pleased overall with the products and service from Victoria Plumb.


Terrible returns experience

I returned a corset which was far too big despite following the instructions to order 4 inches smaller than I actually was. One month later despite e-mails I have heard nothing. I needed a replacement ,hopefully for Xmas but now it wont be here in time for the wedding. Absolute silence is not good, and I didn't receive any confirmation on line and returned the goods note with the parcel so I haven't got anything to prove I ordered the corset, except the credit card showing payment. Why?

Jasper Invitations

I chose Jasper, partly because they were on offer in the sale. However I do think they should make it clear that the full offer price is only available if you purchase 300 invitations and the savings are much smaller for 50. Also the evening invites are counted as a separate order so cannot be included as a total number to receive a bigger discount. I also didn't expect to have to put them together and stick on the ribbon.
However having said all that, the finished invite looked absolutely lovely and despite my total lack of practical skills, putting them together was idiot proof (it would have to be) and in the end they looked very professional, even though 70 cards took me 4 hours to assemble. But that could be me.

The offer price of the invitations is labelled as 'prices from' in order to show the best price available. When browsing each product, the price drop down shows price and quantity here. An improvement we're working on, is to break down this pricing clearer to give even more visibility.
The separation of Day and Evening invitations is essential due to the personalisation process. Your Day and Evening Invitations contain two sets of personalised information, and through our system need to be processed as two separate orders. There isn't a way around the process.
In regard to the assembly of the invitations, each of our products has a unique product description, with further details located within each of the tabbed boxes. For Jasper, the details say 'Customer assembly required' to avoid any confusion.
