The London Pass

Convenience not worth the expense for us

Bought the pass anticipating benefits that were insignificant or modest at bet. head of line privileges were not necessary at most venues. Individual fees for most attractions were less expensive that the cost of the pass (because we were unable to visit all the attractions offered). We picked up our pass in the afternoon of arriving in London which counted for a full day, so it expired before we could receive anticipated benefits. Does not include transport to Heathrow. Overall a little careful planning would have shown us that the cost of the pass outweighed the admissions fees for the places awe were interested in visiting. For us it was nota good value. For others with longer stays in may be. Poor weather contributed to our ability to venture out more and we might have gotten better use if mother nature had been kinder.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for your review - I can see from your Pass usage that you only used your 3 day pass for 2 days and visited 4 attractions, you would have only need to visit one more attraction to make a saving.

We do state that the pass runs for consecutive days and if you use the pass in the afternoon that counts for a full day however I cannot see any pass usage late afternoon.

The pass does include travel from Heathrow if bought with a travelcard.
