Clogau Gold Ring Missing? and never received.

Where do I start? Long story..listed on Ebay by son-in-law,didn't quite meet reserve,but mum-in-law, apparently,accepted my highest bid.Settled via ppal (not Ebay).SIL confirmed Hermes collection from his workplace, then nothing arrived.He thought it was fine as he was covered by insurance, My Hermes said they couldn't find it (packaged and labelled as a Welsh Gold Clogau Ring)...no bloody wonder!!! This is the simplified version, I think that son-in-law was just after the insurance, as after over 5 weeks of constant emails from me, "he seemed too happy to claim on My Hermes, for lack of delivery, payable to him, of course".

Me? well, no Clogau ring, I had said that it was for an important anniversary, but didn't hear any more.

I am trying to sort collection of carpet tiles, for mum, from Camberley, up to Liverpool...but trying to do this on the website?? Impossible!!





Trying to do it by phone?....no chance!! The advice given is "go to the website".

I want to organise, as a buyer, collection from Camberley and delivery to Liverpool.
I am NOT the seller, I am the BUYER , and I've stated, to the seller, that I will organise collection from their address and delivery to mine.

IMPOSSIBLE on this website.They presume that you are the seller, and there is no way round it!

Can anyone recommend any other couriers, please?

OOPS, forgot to mention....went "online chat with Solomon, last night, MyHermes", of course. Printed it off at the end of the conversation.

"Book online and make sure it's parcelled up securely and the address plain to see and well secured too!" Impossible as a buyer!

He could not understand that I, ME, I, am the one trying to arrange a delivery, to my address, AS A BUYER, from someone who has sold to me!
I'm desparate now..I've promised the seller that I will arrange things.

Anyone out there that can help, please?
