Ordered Thursday, delivered following Wednesday. Hong Kong to Rotherham in 2 days then 4 days to come 5 miles to my home! Fantastic price on Canon XS50 at £249 compared to £309 minimum elsewhere. Delivered with enough bubble wrap to cover a car. Fantastic!
I ordered a Samsung fridge freezer in December 2012 for my parents and after 6 months it's broken down 3 times and they have been without refrigeration for 6 weeks in total. Customer care at Samsung were at best useless! They agreed to replace the unit but gave a 2-4 week lead time or alternatively a refund. I have taken a view that the original unit was a 'Friday afternoon assembly' and a one off and so went on line to research a replacement confident that it could be done much quicker than Samsung suggested. Whilst watching the 10 o'clock new I went on line and placed an order with AO on the Wdebesday and within 36 hours, the new replacement was sitting in my mothers kitchen. Samsung said 30 days, achieved a result in 30 hours!. I've used this company several times and would not hesitate to recommend them. I received the standard email confirming delivery but here is where things are different......a telephone call from the guys processing the order with a follow up text message. Another message on the day of delivery at 7am confirming delivery and a time slot either AM or PM. Then a phone call from the delivery driver when 15 minutes from the destination. Then follow up calls and emails to check that everything is ok. This is what customer service is all about, exceptional and it's just unfortunate that more companies such as BT, SKY and the utilities can't follow suit.
Do not conduct business with this company. The staff answering the telephone are perfectly amicable however I believe that the owner has no knowledge of how to treat customers fairly and couldn't care less.
I ordered a set of Mercedes CLS car mats which although described as deluxe were anything but deluxe when they arrived after a delay.
The carpet was poor quality and the workmanship unacceptable as was the fact that the mats did not fit. When I called Cyberspares they asked me to confirm registration details for the car and claimed that they buy a genuine set of mats from Mercedes and simply make a template.
I therefore conclude that they can't do something as simple as making a copy!
I was told to return the product with a covering letter setting out my request for a refund of payment plus postage of around £13 that it had cost to send through the Post Office.
Although I have now been refunded for the car mats, I haven't received any letter of apology or refund of postage charge. I called Cyberspares to query this and was told that a message would be passed to business owner and that he would contact me. After a week without reply I have now decided to make every effort to discredit his company.
I was simply asking to be treated fairly however this company clearly cannot comprehend this action and will continue ripping off customers.
Ordered handles, latches and hinges. All door furniture arrived exactly as describe and is excellent quality. Bought Karcher handles from a local supplier and paid nearly £50 per pair. The new stuff here was purchased on behalf of my parents at a 1/3rd of the price and I can't tell the difference. The hinges I purchased (4" I think) are better suited to fire doors i.e they are a little on the large side for internal doors although the joiner says they'll be fine. Excellent products, well priced, great service.........enough said!
