Genuine Product at a competitive price

I was today contacted by Mr Sean, the manager of SLRhut and explained to me why the Sony Package was not sealed which was convincing. He also resolved the issue of the battery by agreeing to send me another brand new battery free of cost which is great. This proves that these guys do care for their customers and strive to resolve issues if any. I felt good when he called me to discuss about my issue that is why I have updated my review.

I am a first time buyer with this company. At first I was skeptic about this company. But after going through the reviews of other customer, I decided to try this company by buying a Sony handycam.

My item arrived yesterday and it is great. However, although it says brand new for every product in its website, when I opened the outer covering, the actual Sony package inside was not sealed with a Sony sticker (I don't know for what reason), and the camera inside also did not have the sticker and the tag on it which gives the impression of being a fresh brand new product. Because of these reasons, I have a doubt in mind that they have sold me a refurbished product claiming to be a brand new, I don't know. But the camcorder looks new and works fine. Or maybe they opened the seal to put the other Accessories which I bought with the camcorder in side the Sony packaging. I have to confirm this with them. I had also bought four accessories with this camcorder. Out of the four accessories, three of them are brand new intact in their retail packaging but the spare battery, which they claim to last 8 hours, was not all new. From the look of its packaging, I can say that this a used battery. The packaging was not intact like the other accessories had and looked very old and was broken on the sides. Looks like someone had already opened it before.

Because of these reasons I have given them a three Star. However, I will update my rating if they can convince me that the camera and the spare battery are Brand new as they claim to be.

Other aspects, of the company such as customer service, delivery, product genuineness, I am very satisfied.
