Delivery of a summer house came as arranged with out any problems. Only slight problem was that there was only one delivery person and he had problems lifting the large front panel on his own - so l, a mear woman - duly offered to help and between us we managed to get the large panel to the rear of my house.
My husband and I duly errected the summer house which initially took about 5 hours to get to the stage where all the panels were together. The panels were rather hearvy but there again it was a 8' x 10' building. We would not have been able to have manhandled anything larger on our own. Summer house went together well with just a couple of hitches but I think these may have been a slight problem with out base not being exactely level although husband was very careful in levelling it but he has overcome the slight issue with the one corner involved. According to my husband the roof went on very easily although he did find the instructions somewhat lacking (probably more due to interprettation) and he has not quit the overlap on the sides quite right but he will alter this now that he has seen your photo of the roof section on your website.
Unfortunately the weather was really very cold and frosty when we erected the summer house but we had no choice. Hence, we were not able to paint the building has we had hoped but we did treat with the timber protector all the joints, panels ends etc., but will have to treat the building as soon as the weather gets warmer. We had no real problems at all and are very pleased with the summer house which looks great so and, we believe, was very good vale for money.
We have no issues whatsoever with the quality of the timber used and had no split timbers so have no need to use mastic in any of the joints.
We would certainly recommend Walton's Garden Buildings to our friends.
