I have been wearing contact lenses for years and this is the first time when I find an online store that sells them cheap and delivers them quickly. I strongly recommend them. For the past weeks I have been ordering several items for my Christmas gifts. Some of them from different companies but delivered through Hermes.
First time I was left with a note, with no phone no. or any contact details to reschedule delivery. I had to write a note and leave it stuck on my door so that the next time the courier leaves it with a neighbor. Thank God for old school written notes!
Second time, it's been a week long nightmare! First time the courier didn't leave any note; I thought my parcel was just delayed by the retailer. Surprise, the tracking system mentioned they tried to deliver on Tuesday and they will attempt delivery on Saturday. My flatmate and I were at home on Saturday all day; surprise again, they attempted delivery (they say) but no one rang the buzzer or left a note. I tried to contact their customer service but it's the worst customer service you can imagine (most likely it's a robot). Again, back to the retailer, called them and now the online system shows me the parcel was delivered to 'letterbox'. Fingers crossed I get my parcel.
The morale of this story: STAY AWAY from Hermes and check with the retailer if they can delivered through Yodel, collect+ or Royal Mail. By the way, they deliver their parcels in time.
