I have placed my order days ago. The order included an SD card which I needed to take some shots of my cousin's wedding during the next Saturday.
I have used Pixmania many times in the past with no problems. Even though, whenever there was an issue there was an excellent support.
Nowadays, (I guess it's financial crisis effect?) the order SD card never arrived. I have contacted them and I was said that I need to wait until the 10 working days deadline (fair enough). I waited that. Nothing arrived. After contacting them again I was said that I need to wait for 10 more days now to investigate (through the shipping company) and locate the item. If not found, then they should return the money.
I asked them to resend a new one by Express Shipping so that I can receive it before the upcoming wedding. They refused that. They insisted that I have to wait for the deadline until the investigation is completed.
The sad fact is that I have to buy one SD card from a local store now without having that budget which is reserved by Pixmania.
After many email requests they have said that they will return the money today but it will take 4 working days for this to be shown into my account.
Point is that for almost one month now I have paid for something which never arrived. After so many emails of communication it seems that I have to pay again to another store and buy it. And if I am lucky enough to get my money later.
If they could only resend it by express shipping now, I wouldn't be an unhappy customer. But they choose not to, so I have to warn Pixmania Prospects about their future orders, especially if they want to order something with a deadline in mind.
