disaster on the nite!

managed to get a last minute room with laterooms.com. one of just a few left in the city centre, Glasgow. checked in, went out with friends, returned at 2.30am shattered! got woken up an hour later from a much needed sleep with the fire alarm! trudged downstairs on a very cold night to wait outside- fire engine arrived. needed toilet facilities badly re the wait in the cold, luckily The Thistle hotel directly across road allowed me in to use theirs, really nice lookin hotel- maybe i'll book early with them soon! asked laterooms about refund, was handed a card with the name of the manageress on it- not good enough, was inconvenienced in more than one way, no apologies, no offer of refund. think again laterooms!!!
